The School Week

7hrs and 45 mins per day (8.45am to 3.30pm) which amounts to 38hrs 45mins per week

*School doors open at 8.45 for children to begin learning – actual day starts at 9am

Teaching Hours

Teaching Hours (excluding registration, breaktimes and lunchtimes) amounts to 26 hours and 15 minutes each week.

Parents collecting children, please wait on the playground for your child’s class to be dismissed. Children in Years 4, 5 & 6 are allowed to walk home alone with Parents permission only, forms are available at the school office.

 

Staff are on duty before and after school to ensure the orderly arrival and dismissal of pupils. If a child isn’t collected by 3.40pm they will be taken into After School Club where a charge will be applicable.

We understand that on occasions children may be late for school, they therefore should enter school through the main Reception where their name and class will be recorded. This will be monitored.
